In this workshop you will learn how to sew a beautiful make up bag with lining and a zip fastening. The finished bag is around 15 x 20cm and is the perfect size to carry in your everyday or beach bag. And you will learn how to make it from scratch so you can sew another one independently at home! By the way, it makes a perfect gift for Christmas too.
Some of the skills you will practice:
- sewing straight lines and corners on a sewing machine
- making boxed bag bottom
- sewing lining into a bag
- inserting a zipper
We sew in a cosy relaxed environment in a small group accompanied by tea, biscuits and friendly chatter. You don’t need to worry about what to bring to this workshop because all materials are already included in the price. It is very important for us to choose high quality fabrics and support local businesses.

This Workshop will be held in The Craft Company’s studio in Cascais, and in English.
