During the first week, children aged 8 and above will delve into the world of fabrics, exploring their origins and unique properties. A visit to a local fabric shop will ignite their imagination as they select materials for their project, learning to calculate fabric requirements along the way. With guidance, they’ll master the use of overlockers and sewing machines, crafting a skirt or shorts complete with an elasticated waistband.
In the second week, children aged 12 and older will continue the sewing journey, refining their skills as they cut fabrics using comercial pattern by Ikatee and learn to sew zips and lining. They’ll discover the intricacies of attaching straps while crafting their very own Fanny pack, a symbol of their newfound expertise.
At The Craft Company studio, we provide a cozy and relaxed environment for sewing in small groups. Kids enjoy midmorning breaks outdoors, where they can unwind, play games, or enjoy snacks brought from home or available for purchase at the cafe. With all tools and materials provided, our camp promises a magical experience where the joy of creation knows no bounds.
IMPORTANT NOTES: This workshop has a maximum capacity of 5 participants. It will be held with a minimum of 3 participants.
CANCELLATION POLICY: The full amount will be refunded in case of a written cancellation and not later than 1 week in advance, in relation to the day and time scheduled of the Workshop.
