In this Workshop you will learn how to sew a beach bag, perfect for those summer Sundays at the beach. It is spacious and will hold a lot of items. You will easily fit your towels, swimsuits, bucket hats and sunscreen but who cares about that? You made it yourself!
We have a variety of fabrics in different colours and designs, so you can make a bag with fun patterns or maybe one of a single colour or why not combine a few fabrics and make it unique! The choice is yours!
We sew in a cosy relaxed environment in small groups accompanied by tea, biscuits and friendly chatter.
Some of the skills you will practice:
– sewing straight lines
– overlocking edges
– making straps
– inserting straps
– making boxed bottom
You don’t need to worry about what to bring to this class because all materials are already included in the price. We have chosen sturdy cottons for making this bag, because it is natural fiber, it is strong and can hold weight but also light and doesn’t add weight to your already heavy load and most importantly it is easy to look after and wash.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
This workshop has a maximum capacity of 5 participants. It will be held with a minimum of 2 participants.
This Workshop will be held in The Craft Company’s studio in Cascais, and in English.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The amount will only be refunded in case of written cancellation and not later than 1 week in advance, in relation to the day and time scheduled of the Workshop.
